Portland
Ryan and I went to Portland a few weeks ago to visit Cody and Tennille. Of course our first stop was Vodoo Doughnuts, a Portland must! Ryan loved the maple bacon doughnut while I favored the fruit loops and oreo doughnuts. A few of our fun stops included Twilight filming locations, a trip to the Sturgeon fish farm, and a day spent in Seattle at Pikes Place Market. Portland is beautiful!

Sick Day
Lindsey and I both came down with the swine flu about a week ago. We have since recovered, but it was touch and go for a little while. I think the real loser in the whole situation was the toilet. It got some pretty serious abuse that day. I'm pretty sure that we both ended up on there at the same time once... you know... kinda like when two kids ride a swing.

3 weeks into construction.
So they are building our house pretty fast. This is what it looked like 3 weeks after they started construction. Not bad eh.

This land is our land, this land is my land
This is our lot. Located directly between the house on the left and the swing set on the right. Isn't it beautiful!

Our trip to France
Our trip to France was amazing! It was so fun having Ryan as a tour guide and seeing him in his element speaking french. There were so many favorite parts of our trip. I loved the little cobblestone streets, old houses with shutters, and having a delicious bakery on every corner. We saw a handful of Cathedrals and chateaus. One of my favorite surprises was getting to spend two nights in a Chateau. (Thanks Ryan) We saw the castle were the movie Robin Hood was filmed, Mont St Michael, the Pont du Gard bridge, an old arena, and of course the romantic Eiffel
tower. The one souvenir I really wanted from Paris was a purse. Not only did I get a purse, Ryan let me buy two! Lastly, you know you're not in America when you open the stall to pee and their is a hole!
